Hereโ€™s an encouraging message about ๐Œ๐„๐๐“๐€๐‹ ๐‡๐„๐€๐‹๐“๐‡ from one of our Featured Doctors of the Month, Dr. Christi Annah V. Hipona, DSBPP, FPSCAP.
The World Health Organization declared that It means that even if we eat good food and exercise but our mental heath is not okay, then we are not totally healthy.
Mental health involves our biological, psychological, social and spiritual well-being. It affects how we think, feel, and act. It can present in different ways such as insomnia, lack of motivation, feeling tired, overthinking, and feeling disconnected from friends, family, and God.
It affects our functionality including our ability to have helpful relationships and the way we handle stress. If a person is not mentally healthy, it leads to a more stressful life as the way we think, feel, and act is affected.
Mental Health is a basic human right and asking for help is not a weakness.
